Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
American poet, educator, linguist
Born: February 27, 1807, Portland, Maine
Died: March 24, 1882, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote many wonderful
pieces, one of which was about the Upper Peninsula of Michigan,
the Song of Hiawatha. (The Hiawatha National Forest surrounds
